(Self)Destiny(?)

Destiny = destination. Destiny, by deduction, is the final or ultimate state of being for an individual. Since there is no individual who created themselves there is also no individual who can rightly define their own destiny. A person may discover their destiny and pursue it, but they cannot define their destiny because to do so would also be to define themselves in totality. Since no one created themselves, no one can define their own destiny. Therefore, in moral language we can say:

A hero is someone who fulfills their destiny. A hero does not seek self-definition but *obeys* the design imprinted upon them by a higher power.

A villain is someone who tries to create their own destiny. A villain seeks to define themselves and therefore, the world around them. They deny any and all designs originally extant upon themselves and the deeper their villainy, the deeper their self-definition, and the deeper their self-debasement.
